Schedule backups to fit your schedule.
Take complete control over when Carbonite backs up your files. Set a customized backup schedule by telling Carbonite what days and times to begin your backup – or what times NOT to run your backup. (For instance, if you use your computer during the day, you can tell Carbonite not to back up between 9 am and 5 pm.)
Back up multiple versions
of the same files.
Have certain files that you change frequently? Carbonite can save up to 3 months of previous versions of your files: up to one version a day for the past 7 days, up to one version a week for the previous 3 weeks, and one version a month for the two months before that.
Manage your own encryption key.
If industry regulations require you to manage your own encryption keys, Carbonite gives you this option. However, please note if you manage your own encryption key, you will be unable to use Carbonite Remote File Access to access your backed up files from your computer, iPhone®, Android™ or BlackBerry® smartphone.
Select which files are recovered first.
In the event you need to recover all your files, but need some files more urgently than others, Carbonite lets you specify that those files be recovered first. Once they’re recovered, Carbonite recovers the rest of your files automatically.
